The eight practices in our local practice-based commissioning (PBC) group have been working together successfully for 18 months or so now. We have a written agreement the practices have all signed up to which has proved adequate so far. But with the general election not far off and talk of GPs gaining full responsibility for commissioning, do you think it is sensible to turn the group into a company with limited liability and with the practices as shareholders in preparation taking on higher levels of risk?
