Stars confirmed for comedy and quiz night
14 July 2010
The extensive social programme in Harrogate this year includes a comedy and quiz night with Dr Paul Sinhar and Dr Phil Hammond (pictured).
These two qualified GPs have enjoyed widespread success as comedy performers in a variety of media around the world.
They will host an alternative to the black tie gala dinner, with a relaxed buffet supper, at the Harrogate International Centre, costing £25.
Dr Paul Sinhar has performed in all the major comedy clubs in the UK, as well as China, Auckland, Singapore, the Middle East, South Africa, Netherlands and Germany. He is also a regular on TV and radio, including Radio 4's Loose Ends and the Now Show.
Dr Phil Hammond is Private Eye’s medical correspondent, a regular TV presenter and contributor to shows such as Have I Got News For You, a writer of sitcoms and numerous books, and a part-time GP and lecturer.
