Blood clot buster available
A new blood-thinning drug could help to prevent tens of thousands of deaths due to blood clots. The drug, known as Pradaza, received its licence this week and will become available to hospitals within weeks. Soap boosts Choose and Book
NHS Connecting for Health reckons that 9 million viewers saw an EastEnders character receive her urgent two-week referral for breast cancer recently - proof, it says, that Choose and Book is becoming 'a normal part of life for the NHS and patients'.
