News in brief: Leicester GPs in four peaks challenge success

An intrepid pair of Leicester GPs climbed the four highest peaks in the British Isles in under 17 hours to raise more than £3,500 for breast cancer research. Diabetic Dr Nigel Stollery, and fellow Kibworth Medical Health Centre GP Dr Naz Choudhury completed the challenge on June 27. Without sleep, the pair scaled Carrauntoohil in County Kerry, Ireland, Ben Nevis, Fort William, Scafell Pike, Cumbria and Snowdon, Snowdonia.
