News in brief: BMA fights actors' bid to smoke on stage

The BMA in Northern Ireland has written to all Northern Ireland MLAs urging them to vote against a proposed amendment to the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill which would permit actors to smoke where the artistic integrity of a performance makes it appropriate for them to do so.
