Letters Calls And Emails: BBC seeks fish-odour syndrome patients

Dear Editor

The BBC is producing an educational documentary about trimethylaminuria (TMAU, ‘fish-odour syndrome').

As the production company, we wish to contact sufferers. There is no obligation to appear in the programme and all calls are treated in confidence.

We aim to make a compelling and educational programme about this condition and hope to reduce the stigma that surrounds it. We will be working with leading international experts and believe we can offer progressive assistance to those who participate.

If you have any patients affected by TMAU please pass on our details (davidm@bettytv.co.uk, (020) 7290 0660/7907 0887).
