Letters, calls & emails: An admirable stasis in times of great change

Dear Editor

My partner and I have just celebrated 20 years of an unchanged partnership in general practice, without any new partners joining or leaving.

We do of course employ locums to cover holidays and our GPSI work.

We reckon that this is probably some kind of county record if not a national one, given the climate of change and uncertainty in general practice these days.

We are both in our early 50s. Can anyone beat this record?

Dr Andrew Briggs and Dr John Taylor, Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
