Jamie Oliver gives evidence to MPs on health inequalities

TV chef Jamie Oliver gives evidence to the Health Committee in Westminster today about health inequalities.

The committee is examining the extent to which the NHS can help to achieve a reduction in health inequalities particularly through primary care and public health services.

One of the focuses of the inquiry is how the quality framework and practice-based commissioning might be used to improve the quality and distribution of GP services to reduce health inequalities.

The evidence session is at 10am in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House, opposite Parliament.
