GP's children skate for gold

Dr Alastair Kerr (centre), a GP from Lothian, Scotland, will be accompanying his children, Sinead and John, to the Winter Olympics this week.

They will be the only British skating representatives and will be performing a routine partly choreographed by Olympic ice-dancing gold medallist Christopher Dean. The games begin today in Turin and run until 26 February.
