GP's children go for gold in Winter Olympics

Dr Alastair Kerr, a GP from Lothian, Scotland, will be supporting his children Sinead and John from the sidelines as they compete in the Ice Dance event at the Winter Olympics this week.

They will be performing a routine choreographed with the help of former Olympic champion Evgeny Platov.

‘They have been the British champions for seven years now, and at the last Winter Olympics they came tenth,' said Dr Kerr. ‘Hopefully this year they will be bit higher than that - the top five would really be something great to aim for.'

Follow the progress of Dr Kerr's children on Healthcare Republic. They skate three times beginning on Friday, with an original dance on Sunday and the free dance on Monday.
