GPC renews push to negotiate for PMS after White Paper

GPs have renewed calls for the GPC to have national negotiating rights for PMS because of the White Paper's promise of a fun-damental review of PMS funding.

GPC deputy chairman Dr Laurence Buckman said: 'We continue to campaign for a role. PMS practices need support.'

Avon LMCs chairman Dr Simon Bradley said: 'It is disingenuous for the DoH to say PMS is just a local contract.'
