GPC to poll GPs on contract deal next month

GPs will receive letters from the GPC next month asking whether they accept the DoH's revised contract deal from April.

GPC chairman Dr Laurence Buckman said there was no third option on offer.

‘GPs aren't being asked if they like the deal, they're being asked if they accept it,' he added.

The GPC is considering its options legally if the government does impose a deal.

On 21 February GPC representatives will be available to answer any queries their constituents have on the deal.
