GP motorcycles to Russia

A Sussex GP will ride his motorbike from England to Russia to raise money for a Russian orphans' charity.

Dr Bob Ward, a GP in Crawley, West Sussex, will be one of nine riders making the journey in aid of the Genesis project, run by charity Love Russia, to support 16-year-olds as they leave orphanages.

The two-week long trip will take Dr Ward through Holland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, with a visit to Estonia on the return journey. Dr Ward, the designated doctor for the trip, hopes to raise £2,750.
