GP Letters, calls & emails: Lord! Did I ever leave here?

Lord! Did I ever leave here?
It feels like I have hardly gone
The problems with computers
Continue on, and on and on

It seems we caught a virus
From an email or internet
And did it cause us problems
Don't be daft, of course, you bet

Five kind men came from IT
And if they swore, I never heard 'em
But they were all pulling their hair out
Apart from one who wore a turban

Didn't know who made appointments
Or who was waiting to be seen
Couldn't book folk in for appointments
There was nothing on the screen

We couldn't get in synergy
Didn't know who was on what drugs
Could not print prescriptions
Or find results of swabs or bloods

But we coped with fortitude
Well, there was now't else we could do
It was only a computer virus
Not the dreaded bird flu
