GP cycles from London to Paris

Northamptonshire GP Dr Clive Shackleton, cycled from London to Paris last month to raise money for a children's charity.

Dr Shackleton, who works at Eskdaill Medical Centre, Kettering, cycled 335 miles over four days to raise £2,600 for Action Medical Research, a charity working to improve the health of children in the UK.

More than 800 people took part in the event which followed four different routes. Dr Shackleton was joined on the trip by his son Luke, 17.
