GP brand goes digital only - and new clinical magazine launches

The last print issue of GP magazine will appear on 13 July 2015, with our market-leading news and lifestyle content continuing to be published on, one of the fastest growing medical sites.

In September 2015, Haymarket Medical will launch a new monthly magazine, called MIMS Learning, to focus on the growing demand for GP clinical education. This will sit alongside our new educational website,, which is due to launch in August 2015 and supercedes

This new publishing strategy, including the core MIMS drug reference (print and online) and the MIMS Clinical Update live events, will deliver dynamic and relevant content to support UK GPs and primary care professionals.

MIMS Learning in print and online

The new MIMS Learning magazine will launch on 16 September 2015 and publish mid-monthly thereafter.

MIMS Learning will be focused on supporting best practice across primary care. The aim is to help GPs and nurses to raise the standard of their clinical work through practical CPD, and ultimately achieve professional revalidation. It will aim to make learning a positive, motivational experience.

The new publication will launch with a circulation of 35,000, covering GPs, key prescribers and influencers, and from 2016 we will move to an audience covering key GP and nurse prescribers and influencers in primary care.

The magazine will be closely linked to educational modules on, allowing readers a seamless journey between CPD on the two platforms.

MIMS Learning will offer readers and advertisers the heritage and respect of the MIMS brand and the opportunity to engage with the MIMS brand through print, online and live.
