Free Help and Support for People who have Quit Smoking

Following on from the success of the previous support sessions for ex-smokers who want to stay quit, Fresh Start will be holding more free sessions at Littleover Community School from Thursday 25th January.

The sessions are designed to support people who have already given up smoking by offering expert advice and information. Advice and support is also available on weight management and reducing stress.

Diane Smith is a client who attended the previous sessions.  “The whole thing was very supportive,” she says.  “I was initially scared to come to a group but the experience was very positive.  The exercise, healthy eating and relaxation was very good and made me more aware of my own body and looking after myself after quitting smoking.”

Sessions begin on 25th January and will then take place every Thursday evening for the next eight weeks from 6pm until 7.30pm, with individual support available from 7.30pm until 8pm.  Parking at the venue is free and visitors are required to meet at the main entrance hall.

For further information on these sessions or to sign up for individual support, please contact Hazel Freeborn on 01332 208077.
