The £8.7m advertising campaign has been developed by M&C Saatchi and Aardman Animations. It focuses on the effect that fat can have on children’s health, with the slogan ‘Eat well, move more, live longer’.

In addition to television and print advertising, the campaign will also run on bus stops and in supermarkets. Tesco, Asda and the Co-operative Group are running events to tie in with the campaign.

A support line will be available on 0300 1234567 and the Change4life website will allow people to search for activities taking place in their area.

GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals can order Change4life materials by calling 0300 123 1002. There are also links to hundreds of articles on dozens of topics, full of tips and information on keeping yourself and your family healthy.
