DoH reveals GP patient surveys cost £10 million

Health minister Ben Bradshaw expects the cost of GP patient surveys for 2007/8 to be £10 million.

Speaking in parliament, the Exeter MP said: ‘This includes costs to conduct both the access and choice components of the survey.

It is not possible to give a more detailed breakdown as this would require disclosure of commercially sensitive information provided by our suppliers.


‘In 2006/7 the total costs incurred by the DoH for the same survey was £9,586,520.'
