Entries are sought from individuals, teams and services that have made an impact in public health in England.

Sir Liam said: ‘Those working to improve the health of our citizens do not always get the recognition they deserve.

‘In establishing these awards I hope to shine a spotlight on public health and increase awareness of the exciting and innovative work taking place that will truly make a difference to the health of the nation.’

The closing date for entries is 22 April. More detail at www.dh.gov.uk/cmo.
