CPD trainers fee paid to SHAs

The GPC says the £750 continuing professional development (CPD) fee recommended for GP trainers by the Review Body last year has been paid to strategic health authorities. However, the GPC will continue to monitor the situation. GPC chairman Dr Hamish Meldrum said: 'We are still waiting to see how it will get to trainers' pockets. Trainers should probably ask their deaneries how it is being distributed.'
