Charity publishes rheumatoid arthritis guide

A self-help guide for people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that includes practical advice on how to get the most from NHS services has been published by a charity.

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society guide also details how to access the best treatments and self manage the disease more effectively.

It provides practical tips from doctors, nurses and allied health professionals about all aspects of the disease. This includes advice on keeping personal medical records, understanding different drug treatments and building relationships with rheumatology practitioners to help RA patients navigate the complex web of NHS services effectively.
