RCGP Curriculum - 10.1 Women's Health
This section of our curriculum guide refers to statement 10.1, Women's Health, produced by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
Women-specific health matters, including contraception, pregnancy, menopause and disorders of reproductive organs, account for over 25 per cent of a GP’s time. In addition, women present with non-gender related issues in specific ways that the specialty registrar will need to become sensitive to: domestic violence, depression and alcoholism can all present differently in women. In society, women tend to take the larger role in caring for dependants – children, parents, ill or disabled spouses. This also brings special considerations.
Here we have collated key articles from our journals to help you meet the curriculum requirements in this area.

However, some older articles will remain in the listing if our reviewers believe there to be no significant changes to the topic covered.
