RCGP Curriculum - 3.7 Teaching, Mentoring and Clinical Supervision
This section of our curriculum guide refers to statement 3.7, Teaching, Mentoring and Clinical Supervision, produced by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
The GMC states that teaching and sharing professional knowledge is a core activity within medicine. General practice offers many opportunities for work-based teaching and learning, but guidance is needed to help develop the skills of teaching, mentoring and clinical supervision. Participating in supervision and mentoring helps GPs to reflect upon their own professional practice, ensuring that their work is safe and effective.
Here we have collated key articles from our journals to help you meet the curriculum requirements in this area.
