RCGP Curriculum - 12 Care of People with Cancer and Palliative Care
This section of our curriculum guide refers to statement 12, Care of People with Cancer and Palliative Care, produced by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
Cancer is a clear or underlying concern in many patients and it is important for GPs to recognise this and act on it.
The role of the GP includes primary prevention of cancer through detection and diagnosis to terminal care. Palliative care, and helping patients to die with dignity, is one of the most fundamental aspects of medicine.
Here we have collated key articles from our journals to help you meet the curriculum requirements in this area.
