NEW LIQUID METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE LAUNCHED BY ROSEMONT
09 August 2007
A newly licensed liquid version of Metformin Hydrochloride is now available from Rosemont Pharmaceuticals.
Rosemont’s 150ml liquid Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg/5ml has just been granted a licence by the MHRA. The news will be welcomed by community pharmacists who until now could only order Rosemont liquid Metformin Hydrochloride as a Special.
Rosemont’s liquid Metformin Hydrochloride carries a distinctive new look which will set it apart from other liquid medicines. The extensive Rosemont medicines range is undergoing a major transformation. Each pack will be colour coded and also carry a symbol to indicate which therapeutic area the product is indicated for – this is based on the familiar disease categories set out in MIMS and the BNF for example. Over the course of the next 18 months, all 98 Rosemont liquid medicines – both licensed and Specials will appear in new packaging.
