West Midlands PCT staff rated best in England

PCT staff in the West Midlands are rated the best in England in GP newspaper's Rate Your PCT survey.
Online exclusive results show that when asked the question: ‘Are staff helpful, knowledgeable and understanding of your needs?' 22.2% of respondents in the West Midlands SHA area ranked PCT staff as either excellent or good.
Second was North West (21.3%), third South East Central (18.5%) with North East finishing last (11.1%).
On commissioning, the North West was rated top (19%), East Midlands second (15%), London third (14.1%) and North East last (6%).
A total of 1,655 GPs, practice managers and other staff took part in the poll.
