Swine flu payment estimator for English practices launched
By Tom Moberly, 26 February 2010
Estimates of whether practices' uptake of swine flu jabs is high enough to qualify for additional funding can now be made using an online 'ready reckoner'.
The tool has been developed by NHS Primary Care Commissionioning (PCC) and is being made available to allow NHS PCC to ‘iron out' out problems with it.

The additional funding is part of the easements in the thresholds for the patient experience indicators PE7 and PE8 agreed as part of the national directed enhanced service for swine flu vaccinations.
A letter offering advice on its use has been sent to PCTs.
NHS PCC said it was looking into whether it could enable PCTs to use ImmForm to identify practices that have qualified for additional pay.
