GP's children finish eighth in Winter Olympics

Sinead and John Kerr, whose father is a GP, finished eighth in the Ice Dance event at the Winter Olympics.

Father Dr Alastair Kerr, from Lothian, Scotland, had hoped that the British champions for seven years might make the top five.
In the end the Kerrs remained eighth throughout the three rounds of the competition, despite scoring a season's best 92.23 in the climactic free dance section of the competition in Vancouver, Canada.
