Lynda Hind's work as a neurological specialist nurse in Norfolk, working with people with MS, Parkinson's and motor neurone disease over the past 15 years, has not only been backed by healthcare professionals and patients but has inspired the creation of the charity's award.
Nicola Russell, director of services at the MS Trust, said: ‘The MS Trust has never given a lifetime achievement award before but felt that Lynda had contributed so much the time was right to recognise this level of contribution.'
