Medical opinion firm appoints Virgin Healthcare CEO

16 September 2008

The CEO of Virgin Healthcare, Mark Adams, has been appointed to the board of Premier Medical Group, the UK's largest medical opinion firm.

Neither of the companies is included in the DoH’s list of companies identified to help commission services in England (Framework for Procuring External Support for Commissioners) but both have shown interest in providing primary care in the UK.

Mr Adams, who has previously worked as CEO of AXA and Netcare, will sit as a non-executive director.
