Have your say on NHS IT programme for MPs' report
10 November 2006
GPs are being urged to express their views on the NHS national programme for IT as part of a survey that will influence a report by MPs.
The House of Commons Public Accounts Select Committee is drafting a report on NHS IT, prompted by a National Audit Office (NAO) report published in June, which found the programme would cost £12.4 billion. MPs have promised to draw on findings from a survey conducted by Medix UK and backed by GP.
The online survey will ask GPs about the success and importance of the IT programme.
To complete the survey, visit www.medix.to.
Members of Medix can log in to access the survey, and non-members can register to take part.
